The AGM provides a valuable opportunity for us to come together as a unified community—reflecting on our collective achievements, evaluating our challenges, and shaping a shared vision for the year ahead. This year’s meeting will be particularly significant, as it will include the election of a new Executive and AGM Team. These leadership roles are vital to the continued advancement of our organisation, and we encourage members to consider how their skills, experience, and passion can contribute to strengthening ULOUK’s mission and impact. Further information regarding the venue, agenda, nomination procedures, and the electoral process will be communicated shortly. In the meantime, all members are encouraged to prepare accordingly and engage actively in the upcoming activities. ULOUK JULY 26, 2025 – MANCHESTER

  ULOUK and Manchester Liberian Community Present: July 26, 2025 Celebration The Union of Liberian Organizations in the United Kingdom (ULOUK), in proud collaboration with the Manchester Liberia n Community—a dynamic coalition of four Liberian groups in Greater Manchester (Koukaipai Women Organization, Manchester Men, Liberia Mandingo Organization - Manchester, and Bolton)—is excited to host the 2025 July 26 Independence Celebration. This vibrant three-day event will take place from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025, featuring a powerful blend of culture, fun, music, sports, and community bonding.   Day 1: Friday, July 25 – Cultural Showcase & Indoor Program The celebration kicks off on Friday with an indoor cultural night and buffet at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Portland Crescent, Manchester, M13 0BU, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Friday's program will highlight Liberia’s rich traditions and community dialogue. Activities include: "Represent Your County" – A colorful cultural showcase Panel Discussion – Thoughtful conversations on community and progress Keynote Address – Delivered by Her Excellency, Ambassador Genevieve Kennedy Guests will enjoy delicious food and an engaging atmosphere that reflects the heart of the Liberian spirit. Day 2: Saturday, July 26 – Sports Day & Independence Ball Daytime: Sports & Community Fun From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the field at Hathershaw College, Bellfield Ave, Oldham, OL8 3EP, will come alive with: Kickball Football Youth games Networking opportunities Family fun and community cheer It’s a perfect setting for all ages to enjoy and connect. Evening: Independence Ball – A Night to Remember Saturday night brings the grand Independence Ball, held at Baab-e-Salaam Banquet Hall, 33–37 Cottenham Lane, Salford, M7 1TW, from 8:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Highlights of the evening include: Live Performance by DenG (a.k.a.
